Mommie Dearest

Mother's Day is around the corner and I wanted to share with you my beautiful Mommie Dearest!! Growing up I remember her as always being so creative! I will always remember the dress she made me that I wore on the 1st day of school my Senior year! It was pretty cool :) She was a fabulous DIY creative lady!! So with that being said...I thank you Mommie Dearest for giving me the creative bug! :)

I promise you...she never told me no wire hangers! :) lol... It's just our lil' carino. Can't wait to spend the day with her on Mother's Day!!! xoxo

Adornment

My beautiful Grandma Rose taught me adornment! She never left the house without her make-up on, her hair done, her beautiful handbags & most of all she was always sporting her fabulous jewels! Actually, she didn't even have to leave her house and you would find her sitting in her home just as described! In 1990 a year before she passed she gave me one of her most beautiful choker and bracelet sets! The sparkle on this set is so beautiful!!! I am so blessed and fortunate to have this heirloom treasure and will forever cherish it! Like Coco Chanel once said "Adornment is never anything except a reflection of the heart."

Inspiration

Coco Chanel inspires me with her amazing costume jewelry designs. I love that she used chains, pearls, glass gemstones and crosses. I once read that her jewelry represents elegant lady and rock star all at the same time! She truly was fabulous! With that being said I would like to welcome you to my new blog! :) As you can see it's still under construction...and a work in progress. I am officially announcing my etsy store http://www.itscharming.etsy.com/ grand opening date is Monday, May 10th. I felt the need to start my blog first and put that in writing so that I am committed. :) Please be patient as I learn this whole blogging thing, or I should say become computer savvy right before your eyes :) Thanks again to all my blog friends that have already given me some good pointers! Believe me you ladies have been an inspiration just like Coco!

My Rock Star

Music has always been a big part of my life...starting with my Father, my brother and now my very own Rock Star!!! He's the lead singer of his band "No Kurfu", an awesome guitarist and the most amazing songwriter!! He brings music to my life everyday! It's the best!!! I just love being his muse! :)
